The 3rd Australian Space Development Conference (ASDC) was held in Sydney, Sept. 8-10, 1994. The 3rd ASDC followed on from the highly successful conferences held in 1990 and 1992. This conference was designed to act as an "all you need to know" conference, with a range of topics covered which would give the delegates a broad overview of the space industry. The emphasis of the sessions was on regional space activities and the rapid development of satellite communications in the Asia-Pacific. The theme of the 3rd ASDC was: *Looking Beyond Australia's Horizons*
