Who are we?

The Newcastle Space Frontier Society (NSFS) is a chapter of the National Space Society of Australia (NSSA)  and part of the worldwide National Space Society (NSS).

Our Goal

To provide an environment where those interested in Space and Astronomy can meet. We also hope to encourage amateur Space and Astronomy activity in the Hunter through education programs and community activities.

What do we do?

We are one of the most active chapters in Australia, organising several programs such as viewing nights, field trips, school camps, workshops and model rocket launches. Our monthly meetings include talks by professional and amateur Space enthusiasts, along with the occasional trivia and video night. We try to create as informal an environment as possible.

Meetings

The NSFS meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month - MORE INFORMATION
